Reactive dye’s innovation: Non-Urea printing

Currently, the environment protection policy becomes more and more strict. Factories are trying to reduce ammonia nitrogen emission to meet government’s requests. Different dyestuff uses different dosage of urea that could help factory to reduce the ammonia nitrogen emissions problem. Even there are some urea substations but they are not able to reach the depth effect. Especially, for blue and turquoise blue color it required huge amount of urea to achieved the perfect effect.

We are the manufacturer of reactive dyes, and we study how to reduce emission, which responds positively to the country’s call. It is our advantage to do the relevant research because we know the dyestuff very well and we could possibly to find a new solution for this industry.

Our MARCOCION P series dyes have good solubility and color properties with wildly color range. We tested our P series under different usage of urea and we found solubility and filtration are the main points. If the product has good solubility with shortly filtration time then it can generally be normal color yield. However, the brilliant blue and turquoise blue colors are the exception, which meets our mass production experience. For these two colors need more urea and higher steam humidity to keep the normal color yield.

According to our experimental data, non-urea or low urea printing can be reached the depth effect on cotton fabric.
Even we did not get the same result on viscose/rayon fabric but we found the half amount of urea can be achieved the effect based on traditional process.
